Accenture Industry X – Official Service PageAccenture Industry X is one of Accenture's five core service groups, dedicated to digital engineering and manufacturing transformation. It combines Accenture's broad digital capabilities with deep engineering and manufacturing expertise, helping organizations reimagine both the products they make and the processes by which they make them. Technologies central to its work include AI, IoT, cloud, robotics, AR/VR, 5G, and digital twins.
The practice serves clients across a range of industrial challenges: transitioning to as-a-service business models, building connected factories and plants, digitizing large infrastructure projects, improving asset reliability through self-optimizing operations, and leveraging digital technology to enhance worker safety. For nearly a decade, Accenture has been building ecosystem partnerships and proprietary capabilities in this space.
In 2025, Accenture launched its 'Physical AI Orchestrator,' a cloud-based solution combining NVIDIA Omniverse technologies and Accenture's AI Refinery platform to help manufacturers build software-defined facilities. In one documented outcome, a consumer goods manufacturer used the tool to build a warehouse digital twin, achieving a 20% throughput improvement and 15% capital expenditure savings.
