A demographic group of adults diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.

CDC

Adults with ADHD are individuals experiencing symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder that persist into or begin in adulthood. According to the CDC, hyperactivity in adults may manifest as extreme restlessness, and symptoms can intensify as adult demands increase.

Data indicates that more than half of adults with ADHD received their diagnosis in adulthood. Additionally, a significant majority (71.5%) of those taking stimulant medication report difficulties regarding medication access or continuation.
