African Development Bank Group OverviewFounded in 1964, the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is a multilateral development finance institution dedicated to the economic development and social progress of its regional member countries. Headquartered in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, the Group consists of the African Development Bank, the African Development Fund, and the Nigeria Trust Fund. It is composed of 81 member countries, including 54 regional African members and 27 non-regional members.
