BBC Studios

BBC Studios is the commercial arm of the British Broadcasting Corporation, established in 2018 through the merger of BBC Worldwide and the BBC's production division.

The entity focuses on producing and co-producing programming and managing BBC-branded intellectual property on a global scale. Its activities include managing channels, streaming partnerships, licensing, and merchandising for titles such as Doctor Who and Top Gear.

Profits generated by the company are typically returned to the BBC to support its public-service broadcasting mission.
