The company designs, manufactures, and sells high-performance electric aircraft — including its ALIA CTOL and ALIA VTOL family — along with advanced electric propulsion systems and charging infrastructure. By late 2024 the company had more than 800 employees.
BETA's aircraft have logged more than 140,000 nautical miles of flight, including multiple cross-country trips. In June 2025, its Alia CX300 completed the first-ever passenger-carrying flight by an electric aircraft in the U.S., transporting four passengers from East Hampton to JFK International Airport. The CX300 received FAA special airworthiness certification in November 2024.
The company has built out a charging network spanning more than 100 sites across the U.S. and internationally, and has partnered with Archer Aviation and Macquarie Capital to form America's Consortium for Electric Skyways (ACES). Key customers include UPS (up to 150 aircraft) and Blade Urban Air Mobility (up to 20 aircraft).
Beta Technologies went public on the NYSE on November 4, 2025, at a valuation of approximately $7.75 billion, having raised more than $1.3 billion in prior equity and debt financing from investors including GE Aerospace, TPG, Qatar Investment Authority, Fidelity, and Amazon's Climate Pledge Fund.
