Robert Bosch GmbH, commonly known as Bosch, is a German multinational engineering and technology company headquartered in Gerlingen, Baden-Württemberg. It operates as a global technology and services group supplying products and solutions across automotive, consumer goods, industrial technology, and energy & building technology sectors.

The company was founded by Robert Bosch in Stuttgart in 1886 as the "Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering." Today it is 94% owned by the Robert Bosch Stiftung, a charitable institution. Bosch is organized into four business sectors: Mobility, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. Its portfolio spans automotive components (brakes, controls, electrical drives, electronics, fuel systems, starter motors, steering), industrial drives and controls, packaging technology, household appliances, power tools, security systems, and thermotechnology.
