It operates through four segments: Climate Solutions Americas; Climate Solutions Europe; Climate Solutions Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa; and Climate Solutions Transportation.

The company offers air conditioners, heating systems, heat pumps, home and building energy management systems, automation systems, aftermarket components, repair, maintenance and rental services, and modernization upgrades for residential and commercial customers. Headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, it operates in more than 160 countries and became an independent publicly traded company in April 2020 after being spun off from United Technologies Corporation. David L. Gitlin serves as Chairman and CEO (Chairman and CEO since 2021; President and CEO from 2020).
