Enterprise AI governance platform for responsible AI adoption

Credo AI Official Website

Credo AI is a venture-backed enterprise software company focused on AI governance. Its platform streamlines responsible AI adoption by automating AI oversight, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance, serving as a centralized layer for managing AI risk across an organization. Alongside the platform, Credo AI offers advisory services that support organizations in managing and monitoring AI risk across various use cases, models, datasets, agents, and vendors.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Palo Alto, USA, Credo AI is led by Founder and CEO Navrina Singh. At launch, the company positioned its flagship product as "the world's first Responsible AI Governance Platform." The platform helps organizations define context-driven governance requirements, conduct technical assessments of data and models, generate governance artifacts, and run human-in-the-loop reviews and tracking.

The platform is built around major regulatory and industry frameworks, offering modular policy packages aligned with the EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and ISO 42001, with Policy Intelligence that lets organizations define governance policies centrally and track implementation across AI systems. It targets regulated, high-stakes sectors including financial services, life sciences, insurance, healthcare, government, and retail.

In July 2024, Credo AI secured $21 million in funding (closing July 30, 2024), led by Mozilla Ventures and FPV Ventures, bringing its total raised to $41.3 million. The company has been named a Leader in the Forrester Wave™ for AI Governance (2025) and recognized in the Gartner® Market Guide for AI Governance Platforms (2025). Because governance, risk, and compliance are central to its mission, innovations in AI governance and regulatory tooling are directly relevant to Credo AI.
