DHL Group Annual Earnings 2024 Press Release

DHL Group is a global logistics and postal services company headquartered in Bonn, Germany, founded in 1969 by Adrian Dalsey, Larry Hillblom, and Robert Lynn. It is publicly listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and operates under two brands: DHL and Deutsche Post. Its service portfolio spans mail and parcel delivery, express shipping, freight transport, supply chain management, and e-commerce logistics, organized across five divisions: Express, Global Forwarding/Freight, Supply Chain, eCommerce, and Post & Parcel Germany.

With approximately 584,000 employees operating in over 220 countries and territories, DHL Group is the world's leading logistics company by scale. In FY 2024, the Group reported revenue of EUR 84.2 billion (up 3% year-on-year), EBIT of EUR 5.9 billion, and free cash flow (excluding M&A) of EUR 3.0 billion. The company has proposed a dividend of EUR 1.85 per share and expanded its share buyback program to up to EUR 6 billion.

DHL Group's "Strategy 2030 – Accelerate Sustainable Growth" targets 50% revenue growth by 2030, alongside a structural cost improvement program called "Fit for Growth" aimed at reducing the cost base by more than EUR 1 billion. Sustainability is embedded as a core strategic pillar, with 2024 GHG emissions of 33.77 million tons of CO2e — below the target ceiling — driven by sustainable aviation fuels, fleet electrification, and renewable energy adoption.

As the dominant player in global logistics and supply chain infrastructure, DHL Group is highly relevant to innovations in areas such as last-mile delivery, freight automation, sustainable transport, and cross-border e-commerce — sectors where technological and operational advances can have outsized impact at global scale.
