Dolphin Imaging & Management Solutions is a global provider of imaging and practice management software and services for dental specialty practices, including orthodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons (OMS), and ortho-pedo practitioners. Founded in 1988 by Marc Lemchen, a practicing orthodontist, the company is based in Chatsworth, California.

In January 2009, Dolphin (Dolphin Imaging Systems and Dolphin Practice Management) was acquired by Patterson Companies' Patterson Dental Supply unit in an all-cash transaction with undisclosed terms. At the time, Dolphin was profitable and debt-free with estimated sales of about $13 million. Patterson Companies trades publicly on NASDAQ under the ticker PDCO.

Dolphin's products are customized for orthodontics, OMS, and pediatric dentistry, and include 2D/3D imaging, practice management, patient education, mobile solutions, and cloud services that integrate with most third-party dental-specialty solutions. Flagship modules include Dolphin Imaging/ImagingPlus, Dolphin Management, Dolphin 3D, and the Aquarium patient-education tool. Dolphin 3D processes data from CBCT, MRI, medical CT, and 3D facial camera systems for onscreen manipulation and analysis of volumetric datasets.
