Hudson Technologies official website

Hudson Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: HDSN) is a U.S. refrigerant lifecycle management company serving the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) industry. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, it is one of the nation's largest refrigerant reclaimers, focused on commercial and industrial markets.

The company's core offering centers on the recovery, reclamation, and reuse of refrigerants, helping customers reduce emissions, comply with regulations, and support environmental stewardship. It offers one of the largest refrigerant selections in the country — from CFCs to HFOs and specialty refrigerant gases — distributed through a nationwide network of supply locations. Its buyback and reclamation programs allow Hudson to continue supplying legacy refrigerants that are no longer manufactured but remain in use in existing equipment.

Beyond product sales, Hudson provides on-site technical services, including RefrigerantSide® Services for system decontamination (removing moisture, oils, and contaminants) and refrigerant recovery using its proprietary ZugiBeast® equipment. For nearly three decades the company has made multimillion-dollar investments in plants and advanced separation technology to restore refrigerants to AHRI standards.

Hudson employs an estimated 165–500 people. In a recent leadership transition, Chairman and CEO Brian Coleman stepped down effective November 3, 2025, with Kenneth Gaglione subsequently named Chairman, President and CEO. As a company built around recovery, reclamation, and reuse, innovations in separation technology, sustainable refrigerant management, and regulatory compliance are central to its business.
