Hyundai Motor Company is a global automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Founded in 1967, the company designs and sells passenger and commercial vehicles under the Hyundai brand, while also operating the Genesis luxury brand and the Ioniq electric-vehicle lineup. It maintains a vast global footprint with manufacturing facilities in South Korea, the United States, the Czech Republic, Turkey, India, and Brazil, selling vehicles in over 200 countries.

The company is currently focused on electrification, software-defined vehicles, and clean mobility, including hydrogen fuel cells through the Nexo and HTWO brands. To support these goals, Hyundai is constructing a new U.S. metaplant (HMGMA) near Savannah, Georgia, to expand EV production capacity. Beyond traditional vehicles, the company invests in robotics via Boston Dynamics and advanced air mobility through its Supernal subsidiary.
