H. Lundbeck A/S is a Danish international pharmaceutical company headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, founded in 1915 by Hans Lundbeck. Originally a trading company, it entered the pharmaceutical market in 1924 and by the late 1930s had begun producing its own medicinal products. It made its definitive move into brain disorders in 1957 with the launch of Truxal (chlorprothixene) for schizophrenia.

Lundbeck is one of the only pharmaceutical companies in the world focused exclusively on brain diseases, with a portfolio targeting depression, schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and migraine. Key commercial products include Vyepti® (migraine), Rexulti® (schizophrenia and Alzheimer's agitation), and the Abilify long-acting injectable franchise. Its products are registered in more than 80 countries and reached an estimated 27.8 million people based on 2025 sales data.

The company employs approximately 5,600 people across more than 50 countries, with production facilities in Denmark, France, and Italy, and research centers in Denmark and the United States. It is listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, with the Lundbeck Foundation holding approximately 70% of shares. In 2024, Lundbeck recorded a revenue of DKK 22,004 million, representing a record year and 14% growth at constant exchange rates.
