National Child Traumatic Stress Network Official Site

The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) is a collaboration of academic, clinical, and community-service organizations. Established in 2000 following authorization in the Children's Health Act, it is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) through the National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative.

The organization aims to raise the standard of care and increase access to services for children who experience or witness traumatic events. It is administered by a National Center for Child Traumatic Stress, which is jointly run by UCLA and Duke University.

NCTSN's activities include the development of treatment resources, training materials, and disaster-response guidance intended for families, schools, and providers.
