Founded in 2014 and based in Philadelphia, Proscia develops software products designed to move pathology to the center of modern medicine. Its core offering is the Concentriq platform, which allows laboratories and biopharma companies to store, manage, and analyze digitized tissue slides using whole slide imaging and integrated AI applications.

The company provides specialized versions of its platform, including Concentriq for Research, used by 14 of the top 40 pharmaceutical companies for biomarker discovery and clinical trials, and Concentriq AP-Dx, an FDA 510(k)-cleared platform for primary diagnosis. The AP-Dx platform supports multiple scanners and cloud deployment.

Proscia operates at a significant scale, with customers managing 12 million cases annually and diagnosing approximately 32,000 patients daily. The company has raised approximately $130 million in funding, including a $50 million round in March 2025, to support its AI-driven workflows in diagnostic sign-out and drug development.
