RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association – Official Site

RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1974. It is the only established, nationwide network mandated to promote reproductive health and ensure equal access to all family-building options for men and women experiencing infertility or other reproductive disorders. The organization addresses a significant public health issue: one in eight U.S. couples of childbearing age is diagnosed with infertility.

RESOLVE delivers its mission through community support, education, and advocacy. It trains volunteers to provide free emotional support through community and virtual support groups in more than 200 communities, and offers education on infertility, family-building options, insurance coverage, and financial resources.

On the advocacy front, RESOLVE organizes an annual Federal Advocacy Day and actively lobbies for legislation improving access to fertility treatments and insurance coverage. Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the organization reports defeating 50 anti-IVF bills, and more than 60 million people have gained improved infertility coverage since 2016. RESOLVE also founded National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) in 1989 to reduce stigma and promote open conversation about reproductive health.

The organization is a member of the National Health Council and the National Coalition for Oversight of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (NCOART), and a founding member of the International Federation of Infertility Patient Associations (IFIPA), reflecting its standing within both domestic and international reproductive health communities.
