South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust official website

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) is a specialist mental health provider based in south London. It provides community and inpatient services for the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, and Croydon, while also offering nationally commissioned specialist care for conditions such as psychosis, eating disorders, autism, and forensic mental health.

The Trust operates principal sites including the Maudsley Hospital and Bethlem Royal Hospital. It is closely integrated with King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience and is a founding member of the King's Health Partners academic health science centre.

This strong research-and-clinical partnership makes the Trust a hub for influential clinical methods, such as the Maudsley family-based treatment model for adolescent eating disorders, making innovations in mental health care highly relevant to its operations.
