Straumann Group Annual Report 2024

Straumann Group is a Basel, Switzerland-headquartered global dental company publicly listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (ticker: STMN). Founded in 1954 by Reinhard Straumann as a family research institute in Waldenburg, it has grown over more than six decades into a multinational group specialising in tooth replacement and aesthetic dental products. As of 2024, the company employs approximately 11,000 people, generated annual revenue of $2.844 billion USD (a ~5.87% increase from 2023), and maintains a core EBIT margin of 27.6%.

ClearCorrect LLC, based in Round Rock, Texas, is Straumann's clear aligner brand. Straumann acquired ClearCorrect for approximately $150 million, gaining a foothold in the rapidly growing dental clear aligner market. Prior to the acquisition, ClearCorrect had operated for more than 10 years as a clear aligner manufacturer serving doctors across North America, Europe, Israel, Australia, and New Zealand. ClearCorrect continues to design and manufacture its aligners in Texas under its own brand name.

In 2024, Straumann helped 6.7 million people improve their smiles and trained over 400,000 dental professionals worldwide through expanded educational programmes. The company ranks among the top 10% of companies globally on employee engagement metrics.

Straumann's stated twin ambitions for 2030 are to transform 10 million smiles annually and reach CHF 5 billion in revenue, signalling continued investment in orthodontic innovation—including clear aligner technology—as a core growth driver.
