Teleperformance
French multinational BPO and customer experience giant, one of the world's largest employers in outsourced services.
Wikipedia – TeleperformanceTeleperformance SE (trading as TP) is a French multinational business process outsourcing (BPO) company founded in Paris in 1978 by Daniel Julien. It is headquartered in France and publicly listed on Euronext Paris under the ticker TEP. The company provides customer relationship management, technical support, content moderation, telemarketing, debt collection, interpretation and translation, visa and consular services, and healthcare support, among other services.
With approximately 410,000–446,000 employees operating across more than 170 countries, Teleperformance is frequently ranked as the largest global BPO/customer experience provider by headcount. In 2025 the company generated revenue of €10.209 billion. Major acquisitions include California-based LanguageLine Solutions (2016, $1.52 billion) and Majorel (completed January 2024, ~€3 billion), the latter prompting the launch of digital consulting arm TP Infinity.
Facing disruption from AI in its core outsourcing market—including removal from France's CAC 40 index—Teleperformance has committed €600 million over three years to integrate AI and automation into its operations. Recent moves include acquiring AI crowdsourcing platform Agents Only (June 2025), launching the TP.ai FAB AI orchestration platform, partnering with real-time accent-adjustment AI firm Sanas (February 2025), and forming a research partnership with Carnegie Mellon University (March 2025). These initiatives reflect a strategic pivot toward higher value-added, AI-augmented services.
