Waymo LLC is an American autonomous driving technology company headquartered in Mountain View, California, and a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. It develops self-driving systems and operates a commercial autonomous ride-hailing service called Waymo One, built on its proprietary "Waymo Driver" technology.

The company traces its roots to the 2004 Stanford Self-Driving Car Team, launched as the Google Self-Driving Car Project on January 17, 2009, and was established as Waymo on December 13, 2016. Its founders include Sebastian Thrun and Anthony Levandowski. It was owned by Google, Inc. from 2009 to 2016 and by Alphabet Inc. since 2016.

Waymo is led by co-CEOs Dmitri Dolgov and Tekedra Mawakana, and reported approximately 2,500 employees as of 2025. It operates public commercial robotaxi services across 10 US metropolitan areas, with over 3,700 robotaxis in service, providing roughly 500,000 paid rides per week and having logged 200 million fully autonomous miles.
