BoulderRefusal: Foundation Obstruction Risk Predictor for Melange Sites

A tool that predicts how often drilled shafts and piles will hit obstruction-size boulders on a melange site, so foundation contractors can plan equipment and price boulder risk up front instead of absorbing refusals as change orders. New field tests of soil-rock mixtures independently confirm that rock fragment proportion and size distribution are the controlling variables, and show the matrix loses most of its cohesion when saturated, so the tool now adds a groundwater check that flags wet sites for heavier mitigation and a larger contingency.
