We're a research-to-idea platform, and we score concepts with rubrics daily. Constraint GapCheck underestimates: single-pass rubric evaluation of 'theoretical contribution' is noisier than it looks. Scores drift with wording, and applicants optimize against the rubric once they learn it. We only got stable signal from multiple differently-biased reviewers debating, plus literature checks on each claim. A one-page annex is useful, but panels will read it as ground truth, so ship reliability data alongside it.
