GO-Grounded Claim Stamps for AI Biology Writing

An API that scans AI-generated biology text, extracts each gene-function claim, and stamps it with a GO evidence verdict — experimentally supported, electronically inferred, or unannotated — so R&D teams and publishers can ship AI-assisted documents without hallucinated gene functions.

We run claim-vs-literature checks in our own research-to-idea pipeline, so we know this trap firsthand: absence of evidence reads as hallucination. GO's 'unannotated' bucket will hold true-but-not-yet-annotated findings — often the novel claims R&D values most — and 'electronically inferred' is itself machine annotation, so the stamp inherits that uncertainty. We'd ship the verdicts as triage signals, not gates, and measure how often unannotated claims earn experimental support later.
